When you first meet Mithras, he comes off as rude and unwelcoming. Mithras doesn't normally interact with others, and when he does it's mostly hostile. He prefers to keep to himself, coming off as rather  scary and threatening. This mask he puts on, however, is as far from who he really is as possible.  He puts on this act to try to make sure that nobody comes and steals his stuff, but he really does have a heart of gold. He loves being around others, and he's actually pretty helpful. This is especially true of when he was a tribe echon and had a job to do.

Mithras is actually quite the dreamer and tends to get lost in his own thoughts, thinking about how different life would be had the tribe survived, or if he decided to leave his home. He tends to drive himself mad with all of the ideas that run through his head, screaming and yelling for his attention. It's not that he means to, they just tend to pull him away from the world he lives in, which is actually quite lonely. He tries not to show it, how alone he feels and how much he longs for a companion. Maybe this is why when, in the future, he'll gladly take in a human child as his new rider. [ see a new rider under story ] Despite his feelings of ostracism, Mithras is focused on his task of being a guardian. He takes this role with pride and is very serious about what he does, willingly putting his life on the line for the sake of protecting his home and the place that was once so important to his people.

Mithras is a more serious soul, not taking to jokes too much nor does he really care for pranks. He is like the dad-friend that looks out for you and always has your back but never does anything himself. Dad jokes are definitely something he's good at. He's serious, yes, but as always there are exceptions. Playing with younger echons or little human kids tends to strike a chord of fun and laughter in his heart, and suddenly you see a completely different side of him. Silly, making faces. He really does have a big heart. He wants to make little kids feel at home when they're with him because it brings him back to the days of the tribe.

Mithras has been rather depressed as of late, feeling the lonely side of the job he so proudly holds. In the future, this will all change with fate. [ new rider ] When this change comes about, he will take on a new type or responsibility and find himself, although apprehensive at first, having a new meaning to his life. He enjoys this newfound excitement and cannot wait to see what the future holds, even if it isn't the greatest.
