Fears
Failing his tribe || This would definitely be one of his fears, even now. He feels that he has a duty to the people that are gone, carrying out their traditions and tribe rituals is something that he feels he must do. He doesn't want their history to be lost, so he writes them down in scrolls and hopes that, even if he passes one day, someone will find them and that the traditions will live on. However, with the arrival of a new rider, he sees a potential new hope in the tribe
being reborn in some way and living on through her.
Loss || Loss is something that anyone would be afraid of, especially after he lost his entire home. He feels helpless when it comes to loss, what could he do? It's a normal part of life and it cannot be stopped, even if you try you'll always be defeated by death. He sees death as the enemy, as a hungry beast who's jaws clamp around anyone and everyone it can possibly get to. He ages much slower than most creatures on earth, which allows him more time away from the demon, however that allows him more of an opportunity to feel its sting.
Singing || You may feel like this is a bit ridiculous, and it is. He knows it is, but he hears someone singing and fear clutches his chest. Singing is something that Ausra loved to do, and unfortunately it reminds him too much of her that it hurts. He's scared of feeling the sadness thinking about her brings, he's terrified of hearing the siren song that brought him near and dear to Ausra, only to watch himself drown in his own sadness and fears.
Eels || Eels are terrifying creatures, from their odd appearance to their piercing eyes and jagged teeth. He once saw one swimming around his shallow cave, however it didn't seem to survive very long in the new waters. He wasn't quite sure how it appeared there, but this echon gets the chills whenever he sees one off these disgusting, vile creatures.
Loving again|| After breaking up with a significant other, isn't it normal that, if you loved them and they broke your heart, you would fear loving again? This is how Mithras feels. The gentle giant despises the feeling of being in pain, whether it be physical or emotional. This fear will only be realized with the arrival of a child, Mithras not being too fond of the idea that someone new has come into his life. Nonetheless, he overcomes this fear and lets go of the past.
Dreams
Seeing his original rider || It must seem a bit repeditive by now about this rider of his, but he had quite the bond with her that should never have been broken, or at least that's how he sees it. He longs to hear the soothing voice of his first friend and trusted partner, to hear the soft, melodic voice she possessed simply say his name one more time. To hear the "I love you" and "We'll never be apart." He misses her to the point it affects his very core, it hurts him emotionally. He knows, though, that it is not possible, that it is not meant to be, nor is it the way of the world.
